Two young men on the run embark on a soul-searching road trip across the southern United States, hoping to find a place to call home.

In the winter of 1990 in the United States, a young man named Alan finds himself lost in life, unable to find the solace he needs from his conservative parents nor the church. That is until the day he meets the free-spirited Hayden and falls madly in love. Though still directionless, Alan finally feels like he has someone in his life who understands him. Unfortunately, Hayden is a drifter, never to be tied down to any one place. In order to escape his suffocating life at home, Alan runs away with Hayden. Together, they embark on a soul-searching road trip filled with new experiences, unexpected challenges, and setbacks, all with the hope of finding a place to call home.
